Vacuum dosing system revolutionises the casting process for innovative drive systems

With the Robocast V vacuum dosing system, Fill offers an innovative casting process for innovative drive components and complex cast parts and guarantees maximum casting quality while simultaneously saving on circulation material. The casting system is used for low-oxide pick-up, manipulation and dosing of aluminium melts and guarantees consistently high casting quality thanks to consistent, reproducible casting parameters.

With the Robocast V, the molten aluminium is dosed dynamically. A delivery volume of 0.5 to 2.7 kg/s is possible. The dispensing volume is automatically adjusted during the dosing process according to the requirements of the mould. The dispensing process can be parameterised so that the mould is always filled under bath after the casting start. Oxide formation in the system is avoided by permanently exposing the melt to a protective gas atmosphere.

The Cybernetics Produce software tool integrated into the Robocast V casting system ensures that all relevant process parameters are recorded and stored without interruption. This enables efficient and reliable component traceability. With Cybernetics Produce, foundries can analyse reproducible processes using KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and optimise processes accordingly.

The Robocast V also impresses with its simple handling, clear user guidance and easy-to-use controls. The system is extremely easy to maintain. All wearing parts can be replaced easily and without great effort in a special maintenance unit.
