Pupils from the ninth grade upwards who are interested in computer science or technology can experiment in the laboratories of the Harz University of Applied Sciences during the summer holidays. The Department of Automation and Computer Science invites them to the summer school from 29 to 31 July 2024 and offers them four projects that are also part of the regular study programme. For example, students can programme Lego robots, control model racing cars with sensors, experience the future of technology in a clean room and develop short video clips from their own drawings.
Further information can be found at www.hs-harz.de/sommerschule. Registration is possible until 19 July 2024. Participants have the opportunity to stay overnight at the Wernigerode youth hostel, and the costs for this and all other costs of the summer school will be covered.
The entire programme starts with a welcome at the department, followed by a tour of the Wernigerode campus and lunch in the canteen. After the project work, there is a leisure programme in the evenings.
