The German sensor company Sick and the Swiss measurement and automation specialist Endress+Hauser have entered into a strategic partnership.
Endress+Hauser will take over the global sales and service of Sick's process analysers and gas flowmeters. A joint venture will be established for their production and further development. The closing of the transaction is planned for the end of 2024/beginning of 2025 and is subject to antitrust approval. The aim of the partnership is to provide customers with even better support in
A key element of the strategic partnership is that Endress+Hauser will take over full responsibility for sales and service of process analysis and gas flow measurement technology. To this end, around 800 specialised sales and service staff in 42 countries will transfer from Sick to Endress+Hauser. Customers will benefit from receiving more products from a single source in the future. The joint venture will take over production and further development of process analysers and gas flowmeters from 2025 and will employ around 730 people at several German sites.
