New CTO at 3D sand printing platform

Since January, Rahul Prasad has been Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Castfast, the 3D sand printing platform that was spun out of the iron foundry Römheld & Moelle at the end of last year.

The idea behind the platform is to radically transform and improve the purchasing of cast parts by combining 3D sand printing (fast mould production without a model) and process digitization, so that buyers can order high-quality cast parts quickly online, with instant quotes and fast order processing. The Castfast team's ambition is to integrate as many foundries as possible into the platform so that interested parties can easily find the right supplier from a large selection of suppliers.
