Digital expert new advisory board member

With effect from January 1, digital expert Dr. Melanie Bockemühl was elected to the Advisory Board of G. Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG.

Dr. Bockemühl was unanimously elected to the Siempelkamp Advisory Board at an extraordinary shareholders' meeting. With the election of a proven digital expert, the company is also anchoring its strategic, digital orientation in this body.

As a Partner and Managing Director at the Boston Consulting Group, she drove the development of the digital business as co-lead of the global Digital Economy Initiative. As a Partner at Bain & Company, she then set the tone in the EMEA Digital Practice Leadership team and supported digital transformation projects at numerous large companies. She then took up the position of Vice President & Partner Global Business Services at IBM, where she was responsible for digital agencies and the digital consulting business. As Senior Vice President Strategy & Transformation at Diebold Nixdorf, she was responsible for the global transformation program in Operations, which covered the entire value chain from R&D, supply chain, production to the service business.
