Diamant Polymer GmbH has set an important milestone in its company history. The newly founded joint venture P.T. DIAMANT Polymer Indonesia is to be the bridgehead for further expansion in Southeast Asia – one of the fastest growing economic regions in the world.
In addition to pure product distribution, which has already been running successfully for several years via a commercial agency, Diamant Managing Director Carsten Kunde is pursuing further ambitious plans: “We want to set up an extensive warehouse and partial production or filling of the locally particularly sought-after products in Indonesia in the near future”. The impetus for the further expansion of the Indonesia business and a closer partnership came from Febian LiliPaly, the current Diamant business partner in Indonesia.
The newly founded joint venture will operate under the name P.T. Diamant Polymer Indonesia. The new office and warehouse space in East Jakarta near the Jakarta International Seaport. In addition to pure product sales, this is to include an extensive warehouse and the partial production or filling of products that are in particularly high demand locally. The four-strong sales team is to be strengthened by two additional employees by the end of 2023.
