CSSP Holding GmbH acquires Isselburg Guß und Bearbeitung GmbH

On 30 August 2024, CSSP Holding GmbH, a family-run holding company based in Salzburg and Munich, successfully acquired Isselburg Guß und Bearbeitung GmbH.

The long-established medium-sized company specialises in the development, engineering and production of ready-to-install components made of grey, vermicular and spheroidal graphite cast iron. The strategic partnership is focused on the long-term and successful development of the company.

Among other things, the focus here is on expanding production, broadening our product and market range, implementing ESG criteria and switching to renewable energies.’

Isselburg Guß und Bearbeitung GmbH is a high-performance, medium-sized company founded in 1794 with around 300 employees, specialising in the development, engineering and production of ready-to-install components made of grey, vermicular and spheroidal graphite cast iron.

Among other things, housings, axles, flywheels, brake discs and oil pans are manufactured on modern, flexible production lines. With products from its own manufacturing as well as bought-in parts, the company produces ready-to-install system components for OEMs in Germany, Europe, the USA and Japan. The company's export share is 50 per cent. The engineering department is supported by the latest design, CNC and simulation software. In addition, the foundry has an independent prototype department.

Isselburg Guß und Bearbeitung GmbH is one of the few German iron foundries to use a management system that is certified according to TS 16949 (quality management incl. ISO 9001) as well as ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 50001 (energy management). In addition, the company has ship and railway approvals from all major companies.
